FAQ

Is there an age minimum?

There is no age minimum, however, we recommend participants weigh at least 75 lbs.

If you have a child under 75 lbs. They may participate by doing standing yoga poses if the goats are too heavy for their back. The goats will interact with kids 50+lbs in other ways, including crawling through their legs. Kids can also crawl beneath their parents in some poses (such as tabletop) so that they can have a simulated experience of a goat on their back while the goat is actually on the parent’s back.

What should I bring to the event?

A camera, washable yoga mat, towel & drinking H2o. Wear a top that covers your back.

Are the goats potty trained?

Nope! Fortunately, the goats are vegan which makes their dry, coffee bean-like droppings virtually scent-free. We use disinfectants to clean up goat-related messes as they occur.

Will the goats nibble on my yoga mat? They might! Bring a washable yoga mat that you do not cherish, or protect your yoga mat by covering it with a beach towel. A beach towel on its own works fine too!

Do you have mats?

Yes, we rent used-sanitized mats for $5 each. Please ask to reserve yours before the event.

If you don’t have a location, we can help find a suitable location for you. We will send you a quote and once we’ve received your deposit, your time and date will be secured.

Do you provide the Yoga instructor for private events?

Yes, we have a roster of certified Yoga instructors who have designed sequences that are goat-friendly. If you would prefer to hire your own instructor, we will provide them with our goat yoga guidelines and deduct our instructor fee from your total.

What to know before hosting a goat yoga party at your location....

  • Goats have no boundaries! If our goats are coming to your location, please clear the area of anything you’d rather not have climbed on, nibbled on, or “blessed” by goats.

  • Goats can leave their “blessings” anywhere at anytime ... LUCKILY they are vegan resulting in dry, coffee bean-like droppings which are virtually scent free, biodegradable and beneficial for nourishing soil. We come prepared to clean up goat-related messes as they occur.

  • Goats are curious critters who like to explore! Fencing helps keep them focussed on the class instead of wandering off to see what else is available to eat. For the safety of our goats and your property, we can set up temporary fencing for a small additional charge of $25 per 25 feet. If the location is fully enclosed and there’s nothing to be concerned about the goats getting into, temporary fencing is not always necessary. We can keep the goats on leash if need be, but prefer to have them roam off leash in a safe enclosed area allowing them to interact freely with participants. Please send a quick video clip of your location perimeter to see if fencing is recommended or not.

  • We love all animals! However, goats can experience stress in the presence of unfamiliar animals. For the best experience, please keep pets out of sight while our goats are visiting & remember to pick up after your pets in the “goat yoga zone” before we arrive.

  • Help streamline the check in process by providing a list of your participant’s names including names of minors & their parents 24 hours before the event.

  • Wear something that completely covers your back to protect yourself from goat hooves. Wear something that you don’t mind getting dirty.

  • Bring water to stay hydrated & a camera to capture unforGOATable moments!

  • A couple of our goats fancy themselves as artists who like to sculpt designs into yoga mats. Throw a towel over your yoga mat to protect it or just use a beach towel instead of a mat. If you prefer to rent used, sanitized yoga mats from us @ $5 each, let us know how many you need ahead of time.

  • All adult attendees must sign a waiver before participating.

  • Participating minors must have waivers signed by their parent or legal gaurdian.

  • We recommend participants weigh a minimum of 75 lbs to have a goat jump on their back.
